Ellen’s Purse, 11 pockets
MATERIALS:
  • 1 yd fabric for the outside of the purse
  • ½ yd contrasting fabric* this is only needed if using contrasting fabric for the center embroidery piece and contrasting piping
  • 1 yd lining fabric
  • Choose ONE of these 3 options to stiffen the purse (some heavy fabrics do not need stiffening):
  • ½ yd batting at least 1/8” thick OR
  • ½ yd Pellon at least 1/8” thick OR
  • ½ yd duck cloth,
  • 1 sheet plastic mesh
  • 18” – 20” plastic separating zipper
  • 5 yds cording
  • Marking pencil
  • Matching thread
  • Scissors and/or rotary cutter
  • Pins
  • Ruler
  • General Sewing Supplies
